He was trying to set up Mr. Drummond with a date and two women showed up at one time and he locked of them in that door inside the kitchen

So when she started knocking on the door this scene came next

Mr. Drummond: "Arnold who is knocking on the door?

Arnold: "No don't answer it it's probably a burgular"

Mr. "Knocking on the door?

Arnold: "Maybe it's a dumb burgular"

Then when he gave the doorman his money to bet on a horse and the horse won this scene below

Mr. Drummond: "Why are you watching horse racing?"

Arnold: "dad your so just made a $100 in 2 mins"

Mr. Drummond: "You bet on a horse? That's Gambling"

Arnold: "Not if you win"

The first comment is actually from season two's "Friendly Mate," TVFactFan. It's one of my favorite episodes from that season of "Strokes." The late Vonetta McGee looked absolutely stunning! The first two seasons of "Strokes" are my favorite seasons, by the way.

The first season was probably the best, TVFactFan...Arnold and Willis were slowly getting adjusted to their new surroundings. Arnold took it in stride, but Willis was skeptical of Drummond; eventually, Willis trusted Drummond.

They always gave Gary Coleman the funniest lines LOL. My mother used to think when the show was on originally he was just making up lines on his own instead of it being written for him, Gary Coleman was pretty cute back then Haha.
