What's the difference between the Japanese cut, and cable TV version of Superman 4? I have the cable version, just no way to transfer it off of VHS at the moment.

Black adder US versionThat doesn't exist.
A few shows might have been described like that simply because they were comedies that were set in the past.
"1775" (pilot) for example.
But you shouldn't take that too literal.
