When DS and FOL were airing on Nick (at different times), I sort of thought Dudely and Tootie were brother and sister since they both had the same last name and because the actor who played Dudley's father looked like the one who played Tootie's (or were they the same actor)?

Natalie was from...Somewhere in NY?

I never even thought about Tootie and Dudley having the same last name. I don't know who played Tootie's father, but it wasn't Le Tari (actor who played Dudley's father). Dudley was adopted.

You know, I never even noticed that, Wildchats...Dudley and Tootie do indeed share the same surname! I've been watching "Diff'rent Strokes" and "The Facts Of Life" for years and that didn't enter my mind at all! Thanks!
