In its first high-profile programming acquisition, Major Broadcasting Cable Network acquired the off-network rights to comedy series Roc Tuesday.
MBC will air back-to-back episodes of the urban family sitcom starring Charles Dutton Wednesdays beginning May 1 as part of the two-year deal with Roc syndicator Warner Bros. Domestic Cable Distribution. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
'We're very pleased that Roc has found a home on MBC,' Warner Bros. Domestic Cable Distribution president Eric Frankel said.
