...should it be a new generation thing like Alex Keaton lives in Washington and the show is called "More Family Ties"...

Or...should it be remade (God Forbid!) and it's how children of Millennials would react to their parents like hoe Boomers would react to their parents, especially Alex P. Keaton?

I'd rather see a new generation, I dislike when shows get a strait remake, it hardly ever works and even when it does it no where near as good as the old one.

I wonder if Michael J. Fox could be the main guy, I think that should've worked better than The Michael J. Fox Show!

And I think Alex P. Keaton should be president in this sitcom and his Generation Z Children are opposite of what Alex is and likes their grandparents more.

I think Family Ties should be left alone. It was and still is such a great show. I think it would a shame if anyone tried to remake it. The creator of the show Gary David Goldberg passed away a few years ago. I think he would be against a remake/reboot. I don' think most of the cast wouldn't want to remake it. I don't think Michael J. Fox's health, in my opinion is up to it. He did ok on The Good Wife, but it was hard to watch as the Parkinson's Disease progresses..

I would hate to see new actors play the characters of Steven, Elyse, Alex, Mallory, Skippy, Jennifer and Andy.
