Peter Capaldi is a great Doctor, but shortcomings in Doctor Who’s writing meant that his Time Lord hasn’t been given a chance to really shine.

I think they need to start signing Doctor Who actors to 5 year contracts instead of 3 - its not like they do that many episodes per season anyways and it just gets frustrating getting a new Doctor every time you just start getting used to the current one.

I don't really care if the next Doctor is a female, I just want someone to stay awhile. No idea who the 14 females they picked are, but I doubt anyone on that list will be the next doctor.
