This is probably not a popular opinion

One thing about this show that I don't care for is Dick York. I'm sure he's a fine actor, but I have a hard time with his facial expressions... I just find what he does with his face to be unsettling, I can't really explain it. :confused: I think it has to do with his eyes specifically, they look like they're going to pop out of his head sometimes and it really just gives me a creepy feeling.:eek:

I don't think Dick Sargent is better necessarily, but at least I don't have to worry about rogue facial expressions.

Well personally I think York's rubbery facial expressions and wild body movements made his character very funny. By season five he was in quite a bit of pain from his back and some of the winces and grimaces on his face were probably caused by this pain.

Five years of Dick York doing the same thing made the show tiresome. Dick Sargent was more natural.

Sargent was more natural. But Bewitched was a comedy and Sargent wasn't funny. Dick York was. Maybe the show had run its course and it was time to pack it in but that doesn't make Dick Sargent a better choice than Dick York. The show would never have become a hit with Sargent in from the beginning.

Yes, he was really funny!!:lol: Loved his animated facial expressions and nervous energy! ;) :D But yeah you are right about him being in pain later in in the series!! Poor guy!:(
