In the 90's the biggest names in sports had their own cartoon series named Pro-Stars which featured the sports stars doing fun adventures and it was great fun to see our favorite sports stars together in their very own cartoon series. Pro-Stars was also produced by DIC Entertainment and is one of the funnest cartoons ever

Wow Bestie!! You have the memory of an elephant!! I had completely forgotten about that one! Cartoon Network should hire you as a researcher. You are giving us pure gold here!

Unfortunately it can never be released in its entirety due to using the likenesses of 3 famous sports stars (michael jordan, bo jackson, and wayne gretzky)

I remember watching it on the Family Channel (I miss that channel) the theme song parody queens we will rock you,
If the show was made again in 2017, who would you cast as the team?

It was very brief. If you blinked, you missed the cartoon starring Michael Jordan, Wayne Gretzky and Bo Jackson as aspirational crime fighters called The PROSTARS.
A full marketing blitz was planned as was an unorthodox network partner. But all of that fell through and we were left with a blink and you'll miss it season of PROSTARS.

ProStars was shown as recently as mebbe 2011 on the former ThisTV’s Cookie Jar block, along with the über-campy “Tattooed Teenage Alien Fighters from Beverly Hills,” which was so horrible that I wish I had recorded them all!
A 2017 post above asked who would be in it today. Being 2025, that would be a good question. How about:
Patrick Mahomes
Shohei Ohtani (double threat in baseball if he pitches again)
LeBron James (even though past his prime, and too outspoken)
At least you have the cultures covered!

This, that MC Hammer cartoon and Wish Kid (Macaulay Culkin) was the cartoons you watched on Saturday mornings in the summer when all the good animated programs were in reruns.
