Hi everyone, I'm a longtime lurker and this is my first post. Since UM just got released on Prime I have been binging the past few days :) I'm trying to remember a case but it is slipping my mind. A girl was at work in a mall and was leaving to go home and she was abducted walking to her car. Anyone know what case I'm looking for?

Sounds like the Diana Braungardt case, which Unsolved Mysteries briefly featured in October 1989.

Thanks for mentioning it. I never knew about her/this case. I wonder if the perp was the same guy that abducted Angela Hammond in Clinton, MO 4 years later.

I was not aware of this case either, but you raise a very intriguing possibility. Based on Diana's age and looks, this seems a more valid connection to Angela Hammond than the Cheryl Ann Kenney connection that was brought up on Unsolved Mysteries.

Interestingly, police suspect that Diana's abductor may have been one of Trudy Darby's killers: http://www.missingpersonsofamerica.com/2017/12/14/diana-braungardt-missing-crystal-city/
Rush is considered a person of interest. He matched the description of the man last seen with Diana and looked similar to the composite sketch. The cases are also somewhat similar in MO: women abducted from their work places while alone late at night.
