She did sleep wrapped in either a towel or a blanket. She likely normally slept in the nude, and thus had no pajamas when she took the cruise; but propriety made her clothe her body in something whilst on the island.

I love this one too, especially as she usually put her hair up in the giant curls when she wore this outfit. If not, she'd wear a sweet flower in her hair!:p

I have to confess to being a "Mary Ann Guy," but these images are causing me to rethink that. Tina looks especially great in the photo in post #1. Love the hairstyle.

I'm categorizing it as an "auxiliary outfit" when I do my Ginger wardrobe index. She wore this when she played psychiatrist or barber.

I agree, the glasses are sexy! Very much the naughty librarian look. Maybe she borrowed them from the Professor.

I used to think it was just a re-colored version of the white beaded gown, but it is indeed its own dress. For one thing, the white one had a slit in the front, whilst the orange had one in the back. Also, the white is beaded throughout, whilst with the orange, the beads start to trail off around the waist, replaced by sequins.

Perhaps the most famous scene with Ginger/Tina wearing this gorgeous gown was the aborted attempt to seduce Lord Beasley. That was one lucky bee!:)
