In 1993 Brazilian TV star Xuxa made her debut in America with her self-titled children's variety show that made her a huge star in America but also in English and although cancelled reruns of Xuxa appeared on The Family Channel for short time. Xuxa was one of my favorite shows when I was a kid because it was so cute and the English version was well done. It's really a shame you don't see fun children's variety shows like this anymore because Xuxa was a fun show to watch
