I cried a lot. mininancy 04-29-2002, 11:02 PM how much u wanna bet she's going to get nominated for an emmy for that??? I'd hope she'd win. JoPol_wannabe 04-29-2002, 11:31 PM Oh man she did such a good job and she looked almost just like her and the voices were so good. Did you notice when they showed the young Gilda that one of her friends was the girl that played Jamie in the FOL reunion. Kay Scarpetta 04-30-2002, 03:17 PM I missed it. I am SO MAD. I hope they repeat it. mindysfan 04-30-2002, 06:14 PM There was a lot of ppl that had to do with FOL in the movie. Jami Gertz (no e on the end) played Boots St. Claire in the orginal FOL. Mallory Margel who played Jamie Bonner in the reunion also played a friend of young Gilda. And I think Francois Klanfer who play Chef Gaugan in the reunion was the Mayor who married Gene and Gilda in France. And they are on in "Gilda Radner: Life or Something like it" mininancy 04-30-2002, 07:58 PM o yeah, i knew i knew that little girl from somewhere. julian bozo 05-01-2002, 04:40 AM I watched the movie. I loved it. It was so good. I hope she gets a award for it to. My mom passed away from Cancer (this Thursday May2, it will have been a year) so it brought back some sad memories as well. The guy who played Gene Wilder looked just like him. It was a real good movie. I never paid to much attention to Gilda Radner but after watching her film, I thing she is truely a brave & inspiring person. Maybe I'll come across some of her work now. I'm sorry to hear about your mother. My mother died when I was 8 years old to cancer. The first year is the toughest I think. But you made it, things will get easier and easier as time passes. Be strong and know that she is proud of you. Never forget her. Eva Kay Scarpetta 05-01-2002, 04:32 PM Originally posted by julian bozo I watched the movie. I loved it. It was so good. By the way, the E! channel is showing old reruns of Saturday Night Live, and Gilda's in them. They're really good. Julian and Eva, I'm sorry for your loss. |
