Ever since BBC America changed it's image and started focusing on showing reality shows and Star Trek episodes I have often wondered if BBC America will ever show classic British sitcoms or perhaps make another channel that shows all classic British sitcoms that would make it a huge hit with fans everywhere. I remember when BBC America debuted it had some of the best British sitcoms that are favorites with fans everywhere such as Are You Being Served Mr. Bean Black Adder The Benny Hill Show and many other British sitcoms but since this new image began you won't ever see British sitcoms on BBC America again. I really think BBC America should show British sitcoms again because this would be a very smart idea for BBC America to do indeed
Do You Agree?

i think it has been at least 4 or 5 years since BBC America last regularly aired britcoms.

I post on their forums and am a member of BBC Insiders and I have suggested bringing them back and complained endlessly about the overwhelming surfeit of reruns of ST:TNG, Top Gear and Gordon Ramsay/Kitchen Nightmare shows. The closest thing to an answer I ever got was that they were "too British" and American audiences didn't want them.

which is completely stupid.

Doubtful. It's become the Star Trek network. I still watch Graham Norton and Dr Who, but the channel has lost its identity.
