I was listening to a cd of 80's dance music and discovered a singer named Terence Trent D'Arby and I would like to know if you remember this singer? His first hit was the song Wishing Well that was a huge hit around the world and then released the song Sign Your Name which was later covered by Sheryl Crow. Terence Trent D'Arby disappeared from American radio but is still singing and recording albums in the UK

I remember him, they played Wishing Well all the time at a club I used to go to.

I use to like "Wishing Well," but I always thought of him as a poor man's Prince. (Ducks and leaves the room)

I think D'Arby would have been bigger in the U.S., but he came across as arrogant in interviews. He said his debut album was on par with The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper at one point. You just don't do that.
