For Christmas I got the soundtrack to the 1978 movie The Wiz and when I listened to the music I fell in love with the movie and I have always wondered if there is a chance that they will make a brand new version of The Wiz to be released in theaters in the future. Because the only time I heard of a revival of The Wiz was the live version that NBC debuted last Thanksgiving so I wonder if a new version of The Wiz would be cool to see in theaters and be released on DVD
