Becca3557 01-13-2017, 04:36 PM Ahhhhh 1971-1975! :) Happy Days, Chico and the Man, Kung Fu, Medical Center, Night Gallery, Marcus Welby, Room 222, The Brady Bunch, The Mod Squad, Adam-12, Barney Miller, Bob Newhart, The Partridge Family, Sanford and Son, The Waltons, Courtship of Eddie's Father, Emergency, Getting Together, Good Times, The Streets of San Francisco. I also watched Upstairs, Downstairs and Dark Shadows. We had the major networks, PBS and some UHF channels.
We didn't get cable in our area until 1981 when I was 24. It was Suburban Cable and cost something like $15.00 - $25.00 a month! Of course it was analog and most likely there weren't zillions of channels, although we did get TBS and WGN and a local channel called PRISM (mostly local sports). Some years later Suburban was gobbled up by Comcast. When FIOS became available, we jumped on it.

when we first got cable in 1988 it was with a company called Wade Cablevision. They later shortened their name to Wade Cable, then when we moved we got it through Suburban Cable also, and now we've also switched to Fios.
