I realize that posts can be edited at any time, but 15 minutes is all you have to avoid seeing the Edited by message at the bottom. 30 minutes would suffice.

It's like the timestamp at the top of every post. If you go back and edit something a substantial amount of time later, the timestamp you see is actually false since the content wasn't written at that time anymore. So they have to make a note at the bottom when the post was last updated.

A 30-minute grace period seems logical to me. I wouldn't mind if they changed it.

I once asked for extra time as well. It used to be just one minute to edit. It's hard to believe this was 13 years ago. Crazy, time just flies.

It was changed to 30 minutes some months ago. I think it's helpful to know if an older post has been updated.
