I voted other! Easter is a beautiful Religious holiday! :) And most bosses will let employees have a half day on Good Friday for Church/Religious observation ! ;)

I always wished Monday after Easter was a national holiday!;) Business's closed, a day off from work. Wouldn't it be nice? Having an Easter Sunday get together with family and not have to worry about going to work the next day! ;) Or Even if a person doesn't celebrate Easter, just have it like a "spring break "day!:)

I agree, September 11th would be an appropriate day.

i think they should make Election Day a holiday - or make it mandatory for states to have easier access to online or absentee voting

it would also be nice if they somehow legislated statutory holidays; most states it is not compulsory to give employees any holiday days off - it just stipulates rules for hours per week and weeks per year.
