I love this picture of Freddie! There's so much to tell behind this picture! This one also reminds me of Chico in the Mera Mami Linda Oyee! series also. There's a mystery behind this picture I find incredibly breath taking!

Macca and hue_mee, it is ironic that you two choose the pictures you did and posted them so close together! Macca's (the same one as her avatar) is from very early in Freddie's career I think--doesn't he look like such a little boy?! (Mind you, a little boy with the charisma and charm of a very romantic man! :loveya: ) Hue_mee's was printed in a Parade magazine article about Freddie Jr., with a caption noting that it was taken just a few days before his death. The word "mystery" definitely applies--there is something in his eyes that makes you wonder what he must have been thinking, and why he did what he did! :( But he is still beautiful and the smile still dazzles! Not only that, but there is something so cool and sexy about the sunglasses on top of the disheveled hair!

My favorite image of Freddie is on the CATM episode "The Dream", where Chico is having a dream of Ed in the retirement home and he's in the Elvis suit.

It's where he and Ed are in the garage, and Ed is pleading with Chico to let him work on the car. Chico says something about how complicated the motor is, and he kind of cocks his head, looks down and smiles. (Freddie looks especially yummy right there!)

If I had the know-how or the equipment, THATS the picture I would post here!

Dani, I think it is because that picture pixilated so much when you enlarged it. Luckymama tried to do the same for me (without the colorizing) and that is how my copy looks. Makes it look a little more like a painting than a photo, but that's not all bad! :D

BTW--I think you got his skin tone right and that is hard to do, since his real color was obscured by the fact that he was made to wear dark makeup on CATM in order to look more Mexican. There are a few early publicity photos in which it is obvious that he was not that dark--in fact, he had his own very unique, beautiful complexion. In my stories I have described it as "golden" or "honey-colored", for lack of a better word. I especially like the color you made his lips--hard to believe, but his lips really WERE that gorgeous, dark salmon pink! Speaking of kissable LOL! :kiss:

Boy, am I having bad luck with Freddie t-shirt transfers right now. I had made up some nice t-shirt transfers of Freddie & put some of them on a few t-shirts. Some were of Freddie alone & a couple of him & Jack. :) I had made one up of the REEL SOUL magazine I bought off of E-BAY last yr that had a hot pic of Freddie on the front of it. I printed out the transfer at home. I planned to have the transfer irorn on a t-shirt at a t-shirt place here in Nags Head while I'm here that can do that for me. They had always turned out fine before. Like an idiot I got my t-shirt transfers at STAPLES office supply instead of K-MART or WALMART like I usualy do. Big mistake. The transfer wouldn't even print out on the t-shirt! :( :( I will now have to reprint it all over again. I can't do that here cuz I have no printer for this laptop puter of mine (an old 486. An antique LOL!). I called around & nowhere had where you can print something in color around here on a puter. The libraries said they can't afford color.

So I will have to re-print the transfer when I get back home & try to find somewhere that can iron transfers on t-shirts. This means a phone book search. Arrgh!!!! I could iron it on myself but am afraid of goofing it up. I really wanted that pic on a shirt. Thank God my other shirts I had done in the past had turned out okay.

Warning do not use the t-shirt transfers they sell in STAPLES office supply. Get the ones they have in K-MART or WALMART. I've used those 2 brands before & they came out fine. Yikes! :( :(

Cheryl, I think my favorite one is the one you posted of him with the red background and he is wearing a black shirt with silver studs.

His smile is so hypnotizing.... and that twinke in his eyes is just undescribeable.

The suit I was referring to was a black leisure siti with studs on it that he used to wear. On the DEAN MARTIN ROASTS he wore 2 black tuxedos. One had a satin collar on it but the other one had a sequined collar on it. He looked hot in all 3 suits! Loooking Goood! :)

This afternoon I was flipping dials on the tv & discovered that the ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW comes on ch 10 in Norfolk. Cool! So I watched it. After it was over I flipped dials & caught the last few minutes of an ad for the DEAN MARTIN ROASTS. I dunno if this is the infomercial ad or was just a short ad advertising it as all I saw was the last few minutes but Freddie was in it! :) They only showed him several times showing the side of his head with him wearing his black tux as he stood up to applaud & clap for the person coming up on the platform. I was so happy to see that little bit of him! :) He looked so hot butter could melt! & I did! YUM! :) :heart:
