I cant really say that I hate any kind of music. I respect ALL music. I just dont respect what people do with it. I hate the fact that some people use music to sell their sexuality or use it to determine who you are. I think we should respect music for what it is and how it makes you feel. And I'm talkin about the MUSIC...not who produces it. I believe that we should respect the person who sings the song for their talent. I've noticed among my peers, that people tend to be sucked in by the over-exposed artists with hardly any talent. And also that people my age tend to degrade music from way back when. But if you really think about it....the music we listen to today is just a modernized version of what people listened to back then. Music is kind of like Cher and Madonna. Cher and Madonna just keep re-inventing themselves but they're always Cher and Madonna. Music changes over periods of time but its always music.
