& people were complaining that CBS might colorized
their beloved Kramden's & Norton's.
Here is the real nightmare...

Interesting, this could be why they held up on colorizing the show.

There's a 1% chance this could turn out good, but only if the showrunners are true fans of the original and strive to make it as faithful as possible to the style and charm of the Honeymooners we know. I don't see that happening though. They're probably going to tarnish the Honeymooners' name with raunchy "humor" and sick jokes because apparently people today think that's funny.

Not to sound like a reactionary, but I don't see this working. Jackie and Art in particular brought so much of themselves and their own experiences to the roles of Ralph and Ed that I just can't see other actors even coming close to matching them. The premise doesn't sound too bad if you like that sort of show, but sticking the Honeymooners name on it sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. Hell, even Jackie and Art themselves couldn't quite recapture the old magic in the color shows of the '60s and '70s, as hard as they tried. What makes a totally different group of actors think that they have a chance?
The only segment of this that I would watch (most likely on YouTube) is a cameo by Joyce Randolph, assuming she's able and willing. Other than that, I'll pass.
Anyone here ever see the movie?

I'm sick of rebooting of TV shows. Try something NEW. I just hope that this is good.

I think this will turn out poorly. It will likely be unwatchable.

Let's hope it stays dead. Colorize them, make them 3D, but don't hire imitators. It never works.

Good. I'm sick of reboots. Think of something different.

Another good thing about this is maybe this will increase the chances of CBS showing a colorized episode this year although I doubt that it takes less than four months to colorize an episode even an episode that has no scene changes.

CBS did a reboot already, around 20 years ago. It was called The King of Queens.
Lived in New York. Fat, stupid guy working blue collar job, a wife way too attractive for him. Instead of Norton, we get Jerry Stiller as a Father in Law. KOQ even did a dream episode where the couple are playing the Honeymooner characters in Black and White.

Leah Remini is the boogie woogie.
