They only play it on Sunday Night now. They've only shown episodes from the original 39 for some time now. Does anyone know what MeTV's plans are for the show? Do they still have the rights to the lost episodes?

This came up not too long ago. Here were my thoughts on the subject:

There are lost episodes? How many episodes are there?

There are a ton of lost episodes; over 100 I believe. They're actually segments/skits from The Jackie Gleason Show which ran from 1951-1955 and 1956-1957 (with the Honeymooners TV show taking place 1955-1956). If you look at it that way the 39 episodes they're running now are actually the fifth season of Honeymooners; the only difference is that from 1955-1956 it was a standalone TV show. It would be great if they'd show the lost episodes again. They used to show them very early in the morning but that ended maybe four years ago.
