Oh, yes, yes! That second season's worth on DVD was very much the slog to get through, and I could hardly make a dent in the third.

C.S.I. and all it's spin-offs. In fact all crime dramas.

I'm sad to admit I did lose interest in The Big Bang Theory I used to love that show and never miss an episode. I only seen a handful of shows of Season 9 and only one this season. Also 2 Broke Girls now I see its the same old jokes and canned laughs.

The first time or the second time?

Interest waned after the first, and was gone after the second.

Interest waned after the first, and was gone after the second.

OK, because after the second time the wholes series was gone for good after 11 more episodes anyways.

Currently, Modern Family and The Middle. The Middle was really good for a long time, but it is almost unwatchable now. Modern Family just got pretentious. The only sitcom I watch now is "Mom".

I don't watch Andy Griffith anymore because I have seen every episode countless times my entire life and I know all the Black and White episodes by heart. I do like watching other older shows because I either never saw them or have very vague recollection or forgotten them.

^I still watch TAGS even though I know all the episodes by heart especially the black and white episodes. I take comfort in the familiarity and wholesomeness of the show.

I think it's important to distinguish two types of categories here: one, for those shows that just didn't cut it quality-wise anymore, and two, those that we just watched so many times we got sort of got "show fatigue" from (you know those shows that you could practically recite the dialogue from, word for word).

I was that way for the original Star Trek at one point; just had to get away from it for a while. It was and still is a great show, I just immersed myself in it to a point it didn't have any freshness left. I had explored all the angles.

Now, however, it's been a while and it might be nice to revisit it. :)

I gave up on The Walking Dead in season 2 when the show was purposely dumbed down by AMC.

Once Upon a Time - quit watching after the last season

The new season of Salem isn't holding my interest as the first two, but that's probably because it was such a long wait after season two.

The first season of Fargo was amazing, I couldn't get into the second season.

Season 5 was by far its weakest season. But season 6 has been a return to its old self and is much better.
