The late Sunday night schedule is just very strange: there's a dozen best comedy Emmys among the seven shows listed above, every one is a legitimate classic, and yet they're limited to one inconvenient showing a week. All I can figure is that they're close to maxing out their rights to show them or something, but why push them deeper and deeper into Sunday night?
I feel the same way. It's already bad enough as it is but now they're pushing it back an hour. I can remember when MeTV used to show these shows five times a week in primetime but now they're just being disrespected. Maybe they want to give the new show a decent slot, but I've never heard of the Night Stalker and according to Wikipedia it only lasted 20 episodes.

Night Stalker was like a mystery/horror fusion, so I guess they figure it fits in with Columbo as a mystery. That leaves MASH between the two mystery shows, although I think that's sometimes preempted when they have a 2-hour Columbo.

What turned out to be the pilot for the Night Stalker was a pretty sensational TV movie back in the early 70s.

I used to be into The Night Stalker. I even have the book about the series.

I see that they're getting the half-hour GUNSMOKE episodes from STARZ/ENCORE WESTERNS; I wonder if that means STARZ/ENCORE WESTERNS will start showing the hour-long black-and-white ones again.

And since they're moving THE HONEYMOONERS to a different time slot, I hope this means they're going to stop showing "the classic 39" over and over and over and over.....

Ah damn my local fox affiliate preempts ME-TV's 2am timeslot with a repeat of the morning news except for Fridays so that will be the only time i get to watch Mannix.Bummer

Yayy to Maverick joining I hadn't seen it since it aired on TV Land back in the late 90s or early 2000s apart from seeing it a bit on Encore Westerns at a Motel. And i knew 77 Sunset Strip would eventually show up on ME TV after being shown on Decades, it's gonna be awesome watching Macgver and it's good that it's finally be added to their original line-up outside of Decades

I'm upset about Petticoat Junction being off the schedule.

I still like the Sunday schedule 12-5pm.

Same here actually.

My MeTV station finally got all of it's audio problems fixed and no longer show school closing banners on the screen at times.

After all that, MeTV takes Petticoat Junction off.....

They still refuse to air two episodes of Carol Burnett......

I think I am under a Sinclair curse.

My MeTV is done by Sinclair Broadcast Group.

From Jan 2015 until Feb 2016 there was audio issues where the audio would drop out missing around 1 second of audio randomly.

Then Feb 2016-Jul 2016 the audio turned to staticy/choppy like you were hearing it through a drive-thru speaker.

Now that all audio issues are fixed, Sinclair is using American Sports Network to air games that wiped out Carol Burnett twice for me.

I've been having issues since Jan 2015, what's waiting until March 2017 and Jul 2017 for re-airs of the preempted ones? LoL

But overall MeTV's 2017 schedule does not show anything exciting.

Antenna TV will be on my DVR more often with 227 & Joey Bishop Show.

I wish we could all go back to the days of MeTV and other subchannels airing just whatever the affiliated network aired.

While seeing folks on this forum, some other forums, and just randomly seeing TV schedules across the country, it's a shame how badly MeTV and some Antenna TV's are treated.

Some areas have MeTV slapped together with MyNetworkTV and don't even air Carol Burnett at all.

Others have news reruns and infomercials.

Some Antenna TV's seem to only broadcast part of the day and another network or local programming airs the other times.

It seems like back in 2009 you more so didn't have all of this pre-empted and mashups.

My MeTV is owned by Sinclair and they just keep adding more and more American Sports Net games on.

I seriously wish they'd make a completely separate subchannel for it all.

Who turns to MeTV to watch sports anyway? They don't even put ads up only put it in the TV Guide.

I so wish Cox Television did not sell the station to Sinclair. Cox never did preempting of any kind on MeTV.

Normally they show it but sometimes they will randomly play a basketball or hockey game on.

I know I don't follow sports but I didn't realize people played so many sports so late until almost midnight.

I agree. The main reason Me-Tv has "fallen off" for me is their schedule. Too many dramas and westerns on the schedule. And their choices in sitcoms aren't that great either. Because of this , I usually stick to DVDs or Antenna Tv

If they would mix the schedule up more , maybe I'd watch. Instead of the same tired shows( I Love Lucy , Gunsmoke , Happy Days ) they could possibly air shows like Medical Center , Love , American Style , Here's Lucy and others.

It would also help if METV would play the shows on the Sunday night lineup more often. Shows like Taxi , Mary Tyler Moore , or Sgt. Bilko. It'd be better than the same tired shows again and again

Don't really care for either. Antenna has better shows but crunches credits and has poor scheduling. MeTV doesn't crunch credits but doesn't have as many good shows and has poor scheduling. I wish Get Smart was on 5 days a week in prime time instead of burying it late Sunday/early Monday. For me, I prefer Laff. Decent scheduling and programs and no credit crunches. I mostly watch DVDs and Kodi though.

I myself do find the credit crunching of Antenna TV annoying as well especially as somebody who DVRs and converts/keeps the episodes without commercials.

It's a Catch-22 for me though.

Antenna TV has a habit now of airing shows you can't even get home Home Media it seems.

Mr. Belvedere Season 5 and 6 did not seem to have any DVD release last I looked.

The Joey Bishop Show I know only has Season 2 on DVD as I looked everywhere.

Also 227 seems to only have Season 1 on DVD not Seasons 2-5.

So even though it frustrates me, I feel I have no choice if I want to have copies of the above mentioned shows and probably other examples later as Antenna TV said to one Facebook user that they are trying to get lesser known stuff which tends to mean less chance of DVD releases.

I guess even though my MeTV station will at times show sports games that wipe out it's programming I did get a "Holiday Gift".

It seems ever since MeTV switched to 16:9 and/or the station did some upgrades/improvements to their weather alert/school closings display on the main channel of NBC, I no longer have weather/school banners on MeTV.

I could be wrong but I think maybe they had the banners since the channel was NBC Weather Plus then Retro TV now MeTV.

It was frustrating when you want to keep your recordings but you had like half-inch thick banners at the bottom of your screen.

I know I could have lived with it, but I don't really need a record of what schools had delays or closings the day I recorded the episode.

You hit the nail right on the head with this one.

My local station had RTV replaced by MeTV.

I seen Antenna TV back in 2011 in NYC when it started.

Even though I semi-enjoyed MeTV, I instantly went crazy over Antenna TV, it aired so many things I liked, Burns & Allen, Jack Benny, Norman Lear stuff, etc.
Now Carson, Joey Bishop, and 227.

I must prefer Comedy/Sitcoms to Drama/Westerns.

We had THIS for many years but oddly it took until Apr 2015 for us to get Antenna TV here.

I kept bugging my cable co to add it because I can't get the local station's signal being in a valley.

I never laid eyes on it until May 10th, 2015.

A quick side note, I hate the 16:9 that MeTV went with.

Antenna TV seems to be 16:9 but leaves the video 4:3 inside so it's easy to use video software to save the video. MeTV seems to crop off parts of the video making no recovery possible of those parts.
