Yesterday Mom and I got a catalog from The Swiss Colony and I would like to know if you ever ordered anything from them? They sell delicious foods and candies and food baskets and are famous for their cheeses. My mom and used to order food baskets from The Swiss Colony for my grandparents and they used to enjoy them

I ordered from them once a long time ago. At least I think it was them. I like cheese so I ordered a sampler with the intention of picking out one particular cheese that I liked and then ordering just that one in the future. I kept a written record of what I thought of each type of cheese. I believe there were 11 different types. One I just didn't like and for the other ten I wrote the exact same note for each one: too salty. That's why I only ordered once.

My dad ordered some stuff from there three years ago the chocolate was pretty good

I used to find the catalog really appealing as a kid, and because of that my mom would order me things from it for my stocking. I especially loved the "Chris Mouse."

However, the stuff really is quite overpriced and the quality isn't any better than what can be purchased in local gourmet chocolate shops.

My husband has assorted boxes of cheeses and candy sent out as gifts, every year, for many years, from Swiss Colony. Everyone always says how
the candy and cheeses are fresh and nicely arranged. The boxes always
arrive before Christmas, with no problem. I would recommend them.

Forgot to mention if you are somebody who looks for your orders to arrive on your doorstep within no longer than a week then you are in for a disappointment because Swiss Colony is real slowpokes about shipping orders out
