Last night's ep on Channel 4 featured Frederick in the national finals of a Spelling Bee competition. I have never heard of this phenomenon occurring outside the USA, so can anyone please tell me...

These queries aside, it seems the perfect activity for Niles to have participated in as a child, it seems odd that no-one thought of it years ago to include it in a script.

A Spelling Bee I guess was created as a competition to see who could spell the best. I have no clue why they use the word bee. I really don't know maybe you could do a search on yahoo.com.
