Would you choose DVDs where you can have all your favorite television shows and films at your convenience and disposal or would you choose television to keep in touch with all the shows on network television and subchannels?

I'd choose DVDs because DVDs allow you to view your favorite television shows mostly uncut and unedited(for the most part). Plus , with DVDs you don't have to worry about not seeing your favorite show again. You can pull it out whenever you choose

DVDs- usually no editing, and certainly no commercials or credit crunching

I pick DVD's because we don't like the new shows and we can't get anything with an antenna except CBS, NBC, Fox and ABC.

DVDs no commercials, extras, deleted scenes, and you can skip through parts you don't like

I have DVDs of most of my favorite shows and I love the convenience of being able to watch those shows whenever I want, mostly uncut and with no commercials, but I'd still like to have those shows air daily on TV, I would watch them if they aired on a schedule. I miss that with the old shows.

"Appointment TV" (That's watching a show when it airs at a scheduled time for those of you in Rio Linda! ) is IMO so 20th century. Most people record it so they can watch it at a time that's convenient to them and/or watch it on home video. The only things people watch live these daysare either the news or a sporting event. :tv:

I like both!! i got an dvr so i can fast forward thur commercials!! i also like my tv series on dvd & can watch any time!!

So many options these days, besides DVD or TV, but I still know that if some channel aired a show that I like, daily, I'd do my best to watch it when it aired.

TV for "Wheel of Fortune" and "Days of our Lives".

DVDs for everything else.

DVDs. When I first moved out of my parent's house, I didn't have cable (by choice). I had so many DVDs, I figured I wouldn't need cable. Eventually I got it so I could watch "Conan" on TBS and plus my sister spends the night every Monday and she loves to channel surf. But I could totally see myself going back to the DVDs only lifestyle.
