"The Fosters" Casts Shi Ne Nielson

"Chasing Life" alumna Shi Ne Nielson has landed a recurring role on the fourth season of Freeform’s "The Fosters".
Nielson will play Kate O’Brien, a very sharp and extremely capable public defender. Professional and caring, she is one of Stef’s (Teri Polo) friends. She’s regarded as one of the best public defenders in the department.
"The Fosters" premieres its fourth season on January 31.
