Brick's voice. It's so annoying, I can't take it anymore. I like the show, but Brick's voice is like fingernails on a chalkboard to me. Sounds petty, but it's true.

That is definitely the worst part of the show.

I stopped watching The Middle because the characters have never grown intellectually or emotionally since the first episode. Sue is still the geeky girl who must please everyone; Axl's still the self-centered dumb jerk, and Brick is still doing his same old shtick. Frankie's shown herself to be a selfish, opportunistic "mom" who isn't above cheating and stealing if it benefits her somehow. And Mike...well, Mike is just Mike.

Once Axl went to college, the show jumped the shark. The writers simply didn't know what to do with him.The same with Sue. They need everyone at home, and since they're getting older, that isn't working so well. As a result, everyone spends a considerable amount of time at the Heck house, when they really should be at college and living their lives there.

And Brick's voice was mentioned. I've grown to dislike that character the most, with his stupid facial expressions and honking, robotic voice. Brr.
