Kelsey Grammer to Guest-Star as Cam's… Ex-Boyfriend?!

The former Dr. Frasier Crane is paying a house call to "Modern Family". Kelsey Grammer is set to guest-star in an upcoming episode of ABC’s hit sitcom, according to Entertainment Weekly.
The five-time Emmy winner will play Keith, a circus ringmaster (yes, really) — and an ex-boyfriend of Cam’s (yes, really). Maybe they met back when Cam was playing his clown character Fizbo?
The casting isn’t a surprise, since Grammer has a longstanding connection with "Modern Family" creators Steven Levitan and Christopher Lloyd. The two were writers on "Frasier", and they also co-created Grammer’s Fox comedy "Back to You".
Grammer’s episode, filming this week, is slated to air in January.
