I think it's safe to say there will be a Christmas special. There has been no official announcement of a Christmas special, although I am aware of an episode that was being considered a few months ago for that purpose. And all I'll say about that at this point is that it would make for some colorful backgrounds and would lift your spirits and might make you want to sing a few notes. I will say no more about that because I have heard nothing final about either the special or its episode selection.

If and when "Lucy & The Dummy" gets colorized, I wonder if they will include the built in movie trailer advertising the movie "Guys & Dolls". Anyway, thank you.

I sure hope they have a new colorized special this Christmas. Though at this rate I'll be 250 years old before I get the whole series colorized. As much as I love colorized versions of shows and movies I don't think I can wait that long.

I also really hope they use the fully colorized version of the Christmas Lucy episode, where all the "memory" scenes are also colorized. They showed this all color all the time version of the color Christmas episode last year and it was such a vast improvement over the b/w mixed w/color version that's been around. Also good question here, when will CBS release commercially the full color version of the Christmas ILL episode?

And biggest hope of all is that CBS release the ENTIRE ILL series in beautiful living color. That goes for the "classic 39" of the Honeymooners series too. I'll be in an earthly heaven if this should happen. :)

:wave: CBS will be showing the I Love Lucy Christmas special on December 2nd. The second episode that will be shown after the Christmas episode will be the colorized episode "Lucy Gets Into Pictures"! I look forward to seeing it!
