Roseanne felt pressured by Leon who was making a lot of important decisions while Roseanne was looking after DJ, but also felt she was neglecting DJ, so she made him come and work for her so he could be close by and she could keep an eye on Leon. I don't think he got paid as it was a punishment. I think Dan and DJ tricked Roseanne into not letting him work there, but I don't remember exactly.:rolleyes:

Dan gave DJ some money to take Roseanne out to the movies. That was the whole reason she had DJ there. She wanted him to spend time with her so when he did she let him go.
