The Simpsons
Beverly Hills 90210
Married With Children
Quantum Leap

I saw plenty of shows on TV but the 90's were not good IMO, lots of disposable junk especially with the advent of cable.

Ehh, cannot believe I forgot Twin Peaks. Blame it on age (or the bossa nova, whichever you prefer... ;) )

(not a great decade for sitcoms, imo)The 90s was a lot better period for sitcoms than anything in the 21st century. There are some really good ones from this decade I like that include Frasier, Wings, The Wonder Years, Home Improvement, Murphy Brown, Coach, Mad About You, and the first 4 seasons of Boy Meets World.

1. Seinfeld
2. King of Queens
3. Frasier
4. Norm
5. 3rd Rock from the Sun
6. Drew Carey Show
7. Coach
8. Ellen
9. Down Home - good show not given a chance to catch on
10. Flesh 'n' Blood - same thing, the female lead was Lisa Darr. She should've become a very popular TV actress.

With Seinfeld showing the way, sitcoms amazingly became great again in the 90s. They're the only thing concerning music, TV, or movies that bounced back, for a while, after 1980.

1. Buffy the Vampire Slayer - historically significant, clever writing
2. Roseanne - groundbreaking and funny (until mid-season 8)
3. Friends - consistently funny throughout the 1990s
4. Mystery Science Theater 3000 - critical acclaim was well-deserved
5. The Simpsons (until May 1997) - the later 1990s episodes can be safely ignored
6. Cheers (which didn't end until 1993) - even though the Rebecca years were not as good as the Diane years
7. Life Goes On - culturally significant, often overlooked
8. Home Improvement - delivered big laughs
9. The King of Queens - funny even years later
10. Mad About You - interesting at the time, but now feels dated
