Besides Good Morning, Miss Bliss and Welcome Back, Kotter.....any suggestions? I enjoyed Boston Public, although that's definitely more of a 'serious' show.

View Full Version : Any shows similar to "Head of the Class" or "Saved by the Bell"? everybodylovesrs 10-24-2016, 02:03 AM Besides Good Morning, Miss Bliss and Welcome Back, Kotter.....any suggestions? I believe it's out of print on DVD though. Have you seen The Facts of Life? everybodylovesrs 10-24-2016, 04:22 AM Yeah I've seen Facts. Don't really consider that a school show since it didn't really take place in a classroom. I'm definitely looking for something more like "Head of the Class". gidgetgrape 10-24-2016, 09:31 AM The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis? The Steve Harvey Show? Boy Meets World? City Guys? Breaker High? Different World? Hangin' with Mr. Cooper? Our Miss Brooks? Parker Lewis Can't Lose? liane60 10-24-2016, 10:22 AM I miss shows about school and wish there was another good one on. Also their was another short-lived show on CBS that was a "dramady" called HEADMASTER with Andy Griffith. everybodylovesrs 10-29-2016, 12:21 AM Not having luck finding the "classroom comedys" online unfortunately. Headmaster with Andy sounds very interesting. I understand the other shows have 'students' but what I like about Head of the Class is a lot of the shows take place in the actual classroom with their teacher. They talk about the subject they are learning. Boy Meets World had elements of that with the teacher but a lot of the scenes were not done in class. Square Pegs is probably the closest of those listed but not quite. I guess Head of the Class with their IHP team/competitions was pretty unique! factsoflife 10-29-2016, 01:28 AM Drexell's Class (1991-1992) Mr. Rhoades (1996-1997) The Faculty (1996) Social Studies (1997) Teachers (2006) Teachers (2015-Present) Those Who Can't (2015-Present) Saved By The Bell: The New Class (1993-2000) Saved By The Bell: The College Years (1993-1994) USA High (1997-1999) City Guys (1997-2001) Hang Time (1995-2000) Edison 10-29-2016, 02:12 AM Mr. Novak (1963-1965), high school English teacher. At first, I thought you were looking for a show with the laid-back California Vibe like Saved By The Bell.
