Is there anyone who has seen both, and could compare the quality? I've read several reviews online that state the complete series video quality is quite subpar, but my question is: is it worse, the same, or better than the individual DVD sets? Any insight would be appreciated, thank you!

From what I've read on here on the forums plus on Amazon reviews, the complete series DVDs have the EXACT SAME transfer as the individual season DVDs, which had many people upset. Apparently the same pesky yellow bars that annoy me in the individual seasons are present on the complete series set. I know I would have purchased the complete series set (I already own the individual seasons) if the transfer had been upgraded or cleaned up, but from reviews the video quality is the same.

The special features are also the same between the two. The complete series set features nothing extra besides the convenience of having all the DVDs in one package. That's not enough for me. I also will say that from watching unboxing vids of the complete series on YouTube, the complete series does not have as much artwork on the DVDs as the individual seasons have. (That doesn't matter a lot to me, but it matters to others.) I've done thorough research on this, but hopefully others will chime in.
