One thing that has been established on this board a long time ago is the fact that most if not all of the episodes of this series have been uploaded onto You Tube multiple times. In the recent past, I have read some rather interesting posts by viewers. The episode titled "Julie's Rejection" was from the first season. Several people have offered some very interesting ideas about the development of the character of Samantha. In the early years, she was, very much, a tomboy. As time went on, she sprouted a chest, showed an interest in boys and even wore a dress some of the time. A female poster mentioned how she was a tomboy when she was growing up and told us some very interesting things about sports that she played, bugs that she collected and so on. I responded by telling her that I really enjoyed reading her post. I then went on to point out something that I found to be quite interesting about Samantha. As feminine as Samantha became in the later years, one line that I never remember her crossing was that of purse-carrying! During the whole run of the series, I do not ever remember seeing her with a purse! This poster wrote back telling me that Samantha did have a purse. I wrote back asking her to point out episodes and situations in which Samantha carried a purse. I am still waiting to get her reply.
