I have been visiting Disneyland Resort since I was six years old and I have been noticing that Disneyland Resort has adopted a new image and I have wondered why they are doing this? Is it because Disneyland is attracting new visitors to their theme parks or does Disneyland plan on updating it's image to make it more family friendly? Take for example I've noticed that Disney's California Adventure has transformed itself into a theme park devoted to Disney/Pixar films with sections named for the movies Cars Inside Out Toy Story and A Bugs Life and I remember visiting Disney's California Adventure for the very first time and I saw that Disneyland did an awesome job with the theme park. A second thing I've noticed about Disneyland Resort is that the shows have gone downhill and are being replaced with shows that appeal to younger children in the 3 to 7 age range and I remember when Disneyland Resort had awesome Broadway type shows and also shows based on TV sitcoms on ABC and game shows. But if you go to Disneyland Resort today you'll find that they don't focus on parades that much anymore. A third thing I noticed about Disneyland Resort is that they have changed the way people meet the characters and get autographs. For example I cannot figure out why Disneyland invented a character meeting sessions called Meet And Greets that have people having to wait in line and now because of this new system and new rules it has become impossible to meet characters and get autographs and it has made the characters hard to find and the only characters you can get autographs easily from are Mickey Mouse Minnie Mouse and Cinderella if you're lucky to find them. But as for the Disney Princesses they are becoming rare to get autographs from. I wish Disneyland Resort would improve it's image and become more awesome to visit
Do you think Disneyland Resort is attracting more people to their theme parks?
