During Frasier I learned that Hallmark Channel will begin it's annual Countdown To Christmas starting October 28th starting with the debut of the brand new Hallmark movie A Wish For Christmas starring Lacey Chabert. When Hallmark Channel begins it's Countdown To Christmas it's always wonderful to see what Christmas themed programs Hallmark Channel has in store for this year

I'm not too big on the Christmas programs on Hallmark channel. They start wayy to early and there is a lot of over saturation with the movies. 24/7 for the movies is too much.

I think Hallmark Channel's Countdown to Christmas should've started in Mid-November, not Late October.

I'm a lot less not-too-big on them, maybe "the world and all it's capers" - to quote Ira Gershwin - having something to do with that.

It's most likely because of the ratings they got last year. Close or more then 1 million viewers for their countdown. To Christmas. So why.not start early. People don't have to watch it if it's to early but there are people out there that would watch it that early. There are some movies that are a little corny but they also have some good ones but me personally I don't find anything wrong with that. At least if I'm in the mood to watch some Christmas movies I know what channel to watch.
