Except for Newhart, I have never liked dream sequences. Least favorite has to be Bobby Brady's dream of Jesse James and his gang killing his family on the train.

Hands down it has to be Newhart. That couldn't be better, a lot better than Bobby in the shower on Dallas.

All of the Gilligan's Island dreams were really, really good. I think it's often overlooked how versatile the principal cast was. You could tell they had a lot of fun playing different characters

Dick Van Dyke had a few great dream sequences as well. My favorite might be when Rob was bald and Mel walked in with a full head of hair. The walnut episode was well done too.

The Golden Girls episode, "Mrs. George Devereaux" where Blanche dreams that her deceased husband never really died and also that Dorothy was being wooed by Sonny Bono and Lyle Waggoner.

Completely agree with you on this. That is the one episode of TBB that I can't stand.

I loved the two on PETTICOAT JUNCTION prior to Betty-Jo's wedding. The Hee-Haw frock that she wore during the hoedown wedding was great but the best was that psychedelic ceremony with Bille and Bobbie shaking their booties while Betty roared off on a motorcycle wearing a miniskirt.

Next to Newhart, The Cosby Show's "Cliff's Nightmare" with the muppets guest starring.

Mine is a tie between two episodes of The Jeffersons; where George dreams he dies and is a contestant on Wheel of Forever, and when George dreams he falls asleep for 20 years (aka Rip Van Winkle) since he was exhausted from working too hard! Unfortunately, everyone ignores George when he comes home, since they all think he's dead!
