Group W Productions logo from On Scene: Emergency Response. The one i saw on On Scene was on a blue background, we see red-orange laser lights shooting toward a blue rectangle with cropped-off corners forming a red-orange W out of it. As the rectangle zooms up and swings around toward us, it zooms up out of view, and the "W" is fully revealed, which shines a bit and glows red. The text "GROUP W PRODUCTIONS", written in the same color and font as before, fades in below. Seen during the 1990-91 and 1991-92 seasons of On Scene. Was seen on reruns of On Scene of 1990-91 and 1991-92 seasons on CBS Eye On People.

The MTM logo for Newhart is amusing because it has Bob Newhart giving a "meow" in his characteristic monotone voice in place of the cat's meow. But I like the original version of the MTM logo used throughout the '70s as well.

It would always appear at the end of episodes of NYPD Blue and Doogie Houser MD and the logo would start with a guy playing a wonderful violin solo while the Steven Bochco Productions logo appears. Another favorite logo of mine is the Al Howard Productions logo which would appear during Supermarket Sweep episodes at the end with Randy West or Johnny Gilbert would say "This Is Johnny Gilbert/Randy West for Supermarket Sweep An Al Howard Production" and then the Al Howard Productions logo would appear with a cute shopping cart being featured on it

That is exactly it-- right on the money! That's what I grew up around.

I remember seeing the PGP logo after Another World when i was a kid. When SoapNet began running AW in 03, it was awesome to see the PGP logo again.

This is probably why a lot of people, including me, are irritated by the various ways nearly all channels eliminate closing credits and themes. The credits, themes, AND original logos are part of the program and should remain with the program, IMO.

I was looking at an old Beta tape of a Silver Spoons episode, shown in syndication around 1987, and it had what was undoubtedly an original Embassy Television logo at the end, and it made reference to being part of Coca-Cola (with the traditional Coca-Cola font). Those logos are probably "lost."

You can see this logo (w/o the Coke reference, I think), and a multitude of others, at the end of old Screen Gems shows syndicated by Sony. They're all from the old Viacom syndication prints, and on random episodes include the Columbia Pictures logo, Colex Logo, LBS Comm. logo, every conceivable logo (including the current Sony logo) EXECPT the original Screen Gems logo, which is cut out on 99% of the episodes.

Sony really ought to clean up their syndication prints. (not gonna happen!)

Is this the logo you're talking about? Also, I found a rare Samuel Goldwyn logo, which I think was only used on American Gladiators when Joe Theismann was the main host in 1989. It was never used after the Season 1.0 highlights show in 1990 on AG, nor was it used on any SG distributed shows or movies.

Speaking of the Barry Enright logo, we see a purple updated 1976 Barry & Enright Productions logo, this time having a shadow effect. Below it says, "BARRY & ENRIGHT" in a big bold font and the word "P R O D U C T I O N" in a smaller font and spread out to fit under the name while either Larry Van Nuys or Art James says "This is Larry Van Nuys/Art James. Tic Tac Dough is a Jack Barry & Dan Enright Production, (and is) distributed by ITC."

I identified The Rifleman with the Four Star logo, which appears to be gone forever from that show.

The Revue animated logo sequence with the letters slotting themselves is still on newer Leave It To Beavers and Bachelor Fathers. Newer versions are on McHale's Navy--Universal left the old logos in place.

I only remember seeing this logo on Trump Card, where announcer Chuck Reilly announces "Trump Card is a production of Createl Ltd. and Fiedler/Berlin Productions, in association with Telepictures Productions and is distributed by Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution."

Another one i remember, from The Challengers, On a green background, we see a silhouette of a golfer swinging a golf club. The following text wipes in to the right: A RON GREENBERG PRODUCTION". The words "RON" and "GREENBERG" are in yellow, and the words "A" and "PRODUCTION" are in white. As the words to the right of the silhouette wipe in, we hear a sound effect of a golf club hitting a golf ball as the end theme plays, as announcer Don Morrow says: "This is Don Morrow speaking. The Challengers is a Ron Greenberg production in association with Dick Clark Productions."

I always thought the production company logo of Oprah Winfrey's Harpo Productions was really cute because when the logo is shown the O is shown out of place then it gets put in place while a cute little animated version of Oprah is pulling the logo and then does a cute little bow and a smile at the logo's end. I don't know how Oprah designed this logo but it is really cute. Another favorite logo of mine is the Dick Clark Productions logo because when it begins flashes of gold light fly around the logo while a zapping sound is heard throughout. This logo is really cool and the sound reminds me of Thor's hammer when it makes lightning come out

When I would go shopping with my mom and dad we would sometimes go to a little supermarket to pick up groceries and when you would walk by it the automatic door would make the Vin Di Bona Productions logo sound when it would open and close and it was weird but awesome. And when I would watch my parents go enter the supermarket I would always call the door the Vin Di Bona door because the logo's sound would be heard every time somebody would enter the supermarket. Do you also remember a logo for Maury Povich's production company too? The name of the company was MoPo "Maury Povich" Productions and featured an animated golfer swinging a hole in one and this logo was always shown at the end of each Maury episode

Children's Television Workshop- On a black background, a spark flies across the top left corner of the screen, writing the word "CHILDREN'S" in blue. It shifts to the middle left corner and writes "TELEVISION". Then it shifts to the bottom left corner and writes "WORKSHOP". A ray of light flies from the bottom of the screen and "explodes". The logo "glitters". All the words are written in ITC Busorama. Another one, was superimposed on the screen (moving or not), we see the Sesame Street logo flipping in (the position varies depending on the episode). This is followed by the white words "CHILDREN'S TELEVISION WORKSHOP" in its usual font sliding in one by one while a random Sesame Street cast member says "Sesame Street is a production of the Children's Television Workshop." Still another variant, on various backgrounds, the Square One TV logo flies around the screen then immediately disappears as a copyright notice appears. A few seconds later, the Square One TV goes in random until it reaches the center of the screen. Less than a second later, the Children's Television Workshop appears zooming out plastering the Square One portion of the logo. Thus, the logo reads "CHILDREN'S TELEVISION WORKSHOP TELEVISION." with Cynthia Darlow saying "100% of Square One TV is a production of the Children's Television Workshop."
