I went to see my doctor, I decided to go once after my mom died, and I told them I drink too much beer, my heartburn isn't going away, so he recommended me an antacid prescription that I'll be taking for this month, I'll be dodging coffee, beer, tomatoes, beef, and most spices mostly for the month...
But...are there any good high-fiber foods and high-fiber meals I can make through the month of October?

11 years ago I literally cured my severe heartburn by simply taking one tablespoon of vinegar. I had tried most every OTC drug and prescription meds as well. They did provide temporary relief which is what they're intended to do. I had read about the vinegar cure, but was skeptical. I woke up one night with really bad heartburn and with no antacids available I tried the vinegar. I went over 5 years before I had another flare-op then I took it again. I have now gone 6 years and the only thing I've had is a few instances of very mild and brief discomfort that required no meds.
They say oatmeal and bananas are good for GERD. I have GERD as well. But I don't eat right.

I don't eat right much either, but I made a vow NOT to drink alcohol on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday...no matter how ****ty that day may be...
