Johnny Depp returns to the big screen as the iconic, swashbuckling anti-hero Jack Sparrow in the all-new Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.

The rip-roaring adventure finds down-on-his-luck Captain Jack feeling the winds of ill-fortune blowing strongly his way when deadly ghost sailors, led by the terrifying Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem), escape from the Devil's Triangle bent on killing every pirate at sea — notably Jack.

Jack's only hope of survival lies in the legendary Trident of Poseidon, but to find it he must forge an uneasy alliance with Carina Smyth (Kaya Scodelario), a brilliant and beautiful astronomer, and Henry (Brenton Thwaites), a headstrong young sailor in the Royal Navy.

At the helm of the Dying Gull, his pitifully small and shabby ship, Captain Jack seeks not only to reverse his recent spate of ill fortune, but to save his very life from the most formidable and malicious foe he has ever faced.





The film also stars Kevin R. McNally as Joshamee Gibbs, Golshifteh Farahani as the sea-witch Shansa, Stephen Graham as Scrum, David Wenham as Scarfield and Geoffrey Rush as Captain Hector Barbossa.

Espen Sandberg & Joachim Rønning are directing with Jerry Bruckheimer producing. The executive producers are Mike Stenson, Chad Oman, Joe Caracciolo, Jr. and Brigham Taylor. Jeff Nathanson wrote the screenplay.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales drops anchor in U.S. theaters on May 26, 2017.

Looks pretty good so far.

I saw the preview for the newest Pirates Of The Caribbean movie during the Super Bowl and I think that Disney will do an awesome job on the film and it's so great that they are adding new characters and new actors like David Wenham. I am very familiar with David Wenham because I first saw him provide the voice of the character Digger in the movie Legend Of The Guardians The Owls Of Gahoole so it will be nice to see David Wenham do well as an addition to the Pirates Of The Caribbean cast. I also think that with this new movie we shall see a whole new image for Johnny Depp and he will be a hit actor once again as Jack Sparrow. I truly think the third time will really be the charm for the Pirates Of The Caribbean movies once this movie makes it's debut in theaters in May

I think it looks great and I'm very much looking forward to seeing it with a nephew of mine whose also a fan. I've been eagerly waiting for this movie to come out since they first announced it.
