A lot of people seem to think that when Mr. Roper's niece runs offscreen in the Season 1 episode "Roper's Niece" that the actress made a mistake and it's a blooper. But I don't think so. Earlier in that episode, Mrs. Roper fusses Stanley for making too much noise and is afraid he will wake up his niece. So where is she sleeping? I think there is supposed to be a room there, we just don't usually see it.

After all, why would the landlords only have a one-room apartment when tenants have nicer two bedroom places? Doesn't make sense.

^^^^ My goodness! I've been wondering where you've been..... haven't seen you post here in a while... :(

Anyway, as for the Roper's, I would have liked to have seen their kitchen just once. We didn't even get to see it when Furley took over.

Nope, only the Bedroom and Living room for the Ropers and Furley

And bathroom once when stanley was listening to the trio upstairs in season 3

I remember a funny scene when Stanley is brushing his teeth or something in the bathroom when Helen walks in and Stanley says with a shocked look on his face: "Helen, please, I'm in the bathroom..."

I remember that incident. I believe that it was in the second-season episode "Alone Together".

And we never saw the Roper's garage if you remember in the season 4 episode of Ralph Furley's introduction we hear the trio are having a garage sale by selling the Roper's old junk for the rent money.

Good point. Seems like the show couldn't make up its mind about whether the building was an "apartment house" or a proper apartment building with several units. The garage would've made sense if it were more of a house type of place, but in several episodes we hear about many different apartment units, implying that it was a sizable complex.

And I'm even remembering early in a season 2 episode in which Stanley complains to Helen about having to move his car every couple of hours so he wouldn't have to put money in the parking meters., so was their garage put in afterwards?

Oh how little the producers didn't think that fans would nitpick every small detail in the show.
