A "7th Heaven" Reunion? Only If Reverend Camden Dies, Says Catherine Hicks

"7th Heaven" may have just celebrated its 20th anniversary, but don’t expect to see the First Family of The WB together on screen again — unless, of course, it’s at Reverend Camden’s funeral.

TMZ recently caught up with Catherine Hicks, who played Stephen Collins‘ (much) better half on the long-running drama, who had lovely things to say about her on-screen family members. Then this happened: “I don’t know,” she said about plans for a reunion. “I mean, we’d have to open with Stephen’s coffin.”

“It’s all up to networks and those types of things,” Hicks continued. “I think we’d all love to be together. … Maybe Eighth Heaven with a new boyfriend for Annie.”

^^^ It may be cold, but sadly its the truth. Because of what Stephen Collins admitted to be guilty of, there is no way that a reunion show would happened if he were to be a part of it.

God bless you and everyone of the show always!!! :) :) :)

I don't blame her for being bitter.

He should have never signed up for a family show like this given his past. :(

I understand how you feel here, but I have wondered if being a part of the show was a way for him to try and make up for what he did. A person's past can't be erased, no, but that doesn't mean that the person's present and future has to mirror their past should their past be so horrible. If Stephen isn't doing anymore what he is guilty of, I believe that his choice to walk away from it should be taken into consideration, especially when his victims have allowed him to continue on with it through their choice to not come forward about whatever he did to them.

God bless you and him and his victims always!!! :) :) :)

P.S. Another thing to consider is the fact that his own admission about what he is guilty of is how we even know about it in the first place. The man never once had to admit to doing anything when sitting in that counseling session. Yes, whatever he did is downright horrid, but at least he owned up to it all on his own. In this day and age, such a thing happening is a very rare occurrence.

And here she said she stood by Stephen Collins when he was exposed. I guess she changed her mind, probably realizing she'd be treated the same by association.

^^^ I don't think that she has changed her mind about Stephen. She just knows that in reality a reunion with him included would never make it to the TV screen.

God bless you and everyone of the show always!!!
