James was nice when he didn't kick Mad dog's ass when he saw how broken down Mad Dog was. Mad Dog's mother told him she hated him and slapped him and told him she wished he was never born. When he saw Mad Dig crying, he didn't kick his ass and had compassion for him.

James didn't kick Patches ass for trying to steal the silver salt shakers when he saw that he really needed the money and let him leave with them(he was going to pawn them for money he really needed). James was so nice!
