"Fuller House" Season 2 Finally has a Premiere Date
by Megan Vick
Sept. 21, 2016

Netflix announced on Wednesday that Season 2 of "Fuller House" will premiere Friday, Dec. 9 on Netflix.

The next season will continue the journey of the eldest Tanner daughters, DJ (Candace Cameron Bure) and Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and their best friend Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber) as they try to raise four children together.

The revival premiered earlier this year to lukewarm critical reviews, but was an overall streaming success.

In the show's second season, DJ will still be stuck in a love triangle between Steve (Scott Weinger) and Matt (John Brotherton), Stephanie finds a "weird" new boyfriend and Kimmy will still be trying to stop going back to her ex, Fernando (Juan Pablo di Place).

^^^ Thanks for the news. I wonder what this means for the show where another season is concerned.

According to the page your link takes us to, Candace (D.J.) is not going to be on The View TV shown anymore because she can't do both shows at the simultaneously. I wonder if she'll reconsider should Fuller House not continue.

God bless you and her and everyone else of Fuller House always!!! :) :) :)

I'm saddened that the numbers for Fuller House have fallen for its second season. But it may have something to do with the time of year it was released on NetFlix.

For the first season I managed to eke out some time to watch all 13 episodes in a row. I loved everything about it!

But for the second season, I have been busy Christmas shopping, baking cookies, wrapping presents, doing Christmas cards, etc., etc., as well as holding down a full-time job.

I wanted a time to actually be able to sit down and enjoy the show, not just peek at it while I'm doing something else. That's why I haven't even seen one episode of Season 2, yet. Maybe others have had this problem, too.

I ADORE Fuller House! And hopefully I'll be able to binge-watch Season Two SOON!

I am enjoying Season 2. I think it is better than Season 1. I enjoyed seeing...

on the show. Too bad it was too short. I hope he returns at some point.

We don't know that the ratings fell that hard. The company that tried to be the Nielsen of streaming is now defunct. Only Netflix knows how many watched, not anybody else.

I'm disappointed that this streams in 4k but they couldn't release a blu ray of it.
