is being a freshman scary? Cuz Im goin to high school next year and these people from the HS came to our school and told us about HS and stuff and it was reeeeeeally scary. so... is it?

I'm a junior this year, and I don't think hs is scary. It all depends on the crowd you hang out with. You gotta choose your friends veeery wisely, so you don't end up doing the junk people you thought were your friends who would never do junk like that try to get you to do. That make sense? LOL, but if you pick good friends who aren't gonna try to get you to get off the track then you'll be cool. :)

Yep, I'm going to be a senior next year (:D), but let me tell you that high school goes by sooooo fast. I rememebr being a freshman and thinking this is gonna take forever. Well, it's already time for applying for scholarships and graduation. This is really the scary part! TRUST ME! I actually took my ACT today, and I was a nervous wreck. 4 hours in one room aking 4 tests. And it was tough! Anyone in colleg or out of school knows what I'm talking about! :D Hang in there. High School is a time for fun, until you're a senior. ;)

ima freshman hehehehhe....naw its not scary...just annoying because *in my school* all the older peepz address u as 'freshman' even if they kno ur real name.....lol

Freshman year isn't really that much of a pain. It's kind of like a getting started year. My Freshman year sucked because I had all these sucky classes. Try to pick the classes that sound like you would have a bit of interest in it. I didn't do this. I accidentally picked out the suckiest of the bunch, which made my year suck. The key to the freshman year is to pick alright classes and don't let anybody shove you around.

I think it depends on what your school is like, like how big it is & how many people attend. Where I live the freshmen class is located in the junior high so I didn't get to high school until 10th grade! I was jipped out of a year of hs!! Next year I'll be a senior too. I think junior year is boring! Sophomore year was good though! Geez I can't wait til school's out this year! N E way, u will make it through freshmen year & probably have fun! :wave:

OMG you live in my town! The freshman are in the junior high school along with the 8th graders! Sophomore year is the first real year of high school here! And I loved Junior year. best year of high school I bet. Sophomore year I moved in the semester change, so sophomore year sucked because I didn't know anyone and eveyone was white. But I made friends and that's how Junior year was the best. Senior year is gonna suck because basically all my friends are seniors. Sucks, huh? I'm in all the higher classes with the seniors since I came from a 4-year high school.

I'm a freshman and most people dont get picked on by the older people at my school. Unless you were making them mad I doubt they'll bother you.

its alright i guess, but listen to upperclassman is my advice...dont give them any bull...yah its alright...its weird adjusting sorta i dunno but it goes by soooo fast

JK! It's not bad at all! Just like 8th grade if ya ask me...but yea, dont try to be one of those "no one's gonna miss w/ me" kinda of freshman that act all macho and think their better and crap.... but i dind't think 9th grade was bad...it feels like just yesterday i was walking the halls for the first time...now this time next year i'll be graduating :) goes by so fast!!

I'm gonna be a freshman next year too, but i'm not scared. Just really excited! My best friend's sister is gonna be a senior and her sis likes me, so I think that i'll be ok!

High School isn't scary.

What IS scary is the stupidity of the people in it.

ok...the only thing i hated about being a freshman is the fact that they didn't show us the school very well at orientation. and it's a really big school. like 6,000 ppl...so of course...i managed to get lost everyother class. but that was it. i know all the ppl cuz we like went to middle school together and all...and it's not bad. no one gives a damn about you or screws with you and you don't either. it's all good.

If you don't mind me by asking, what grade are you in? And what city do you live in with suhc a hug high school? I know it's not Nancy Land. :lol:

Well, my freshman year hasn't been scary for me. But then again, I go to a school JUST for freshman, so I guess it wouldn't be.

lol...i am a freshman..lol. 9th grade. i live in...well my school is in a place called woodland hills. anyone heard of it? it's an lausd school....los angeles unified school district...yeah.
