On the same 70's love ballad cd I have I also found a singer named Paul Davis and I would like to know if you remember Paul Davis? Paul Davis's first hit was a cover of the oldies classic song A Little Bit Of Soap and then in 1978 he had a hit with the song I Go Crazy and then released the song Cool Night and then had a hit with the song 65 Love Affair before he became a country singer for a short time

I thought he was very good singer, both pop & country.

Oh wow JO Sweet Heart I'd totally forgotten about that song! I really like it though. He also had a hit song dueting with Marie Osmond on You're Still New To Me which he also co-wrote. Good singer and songwriter in pop and country as Zoneboy said. But I'm not familiar with his version of A Little Bit Of Soap though (My favorite version of that song is by an English singer Nigel Olsson) so I'll have to check it out.

^^^ I remember the "You're Still New To Me" song very well. There is at least one station in my area that plays it because a lot of vintage country is what they play mostly. WPFT and WJFC are the call letters for the two vintage country stations in my area. :) :) :)

God bless you always!!! :) :) :)

I found Paul Davis's version of A Little Bit Of Soap on YouTube. It's nice and I like it but I still prefer Nigel Olsson's version. I looked for Nigel Olsson's version too and it's interesting Paul Davis actually produced it and sings back up on it which I didn't know before. So I learned something new.

The first song I heard from him was 1974's "Ride 'Em Cowboy". Okay tune.
