Are you satisfied with just reading a story. Or do you like writing them. Is there a creator inside of you? Perhaps you have a story, or even many stories inside your head and you want to write them down for others to see.
Authors of fiction have said that, "Writing fiction is the power to play god in literary form" You create the stories, the characters, and decide what they say and do. The characters are your puppets and you are the puppet master.
I have written 2 books, and I'm now on my 3rd. This is one reason I have not been on Sitcoms as much as I'd like. They have not been released yet because self promoting, which is what I plan to do, can be very time consuming, and expensive as well. Once you've written your book, you need to get others to read it, and that means work work work! But it's worth it, and when others do finally read it, the feeling is amazing. Because writing a book is only half the fun. Knowing that other people read it, is the other half.
So are you are reader only? Or are you a writer?
