boechsner 09-12-2016, 02:24 PM Not sure if anyone has heard, in the last two hours, Antenna TV has begun announcing on Facebook, new shows coming in 2017. They are announcing one show per hour throughout the day.

Why just Season 3 of My Two Dads??
tlc38tlc38 09-12-2016, 05:18 PM Why just Season 3 of My Two Dads??
Because I've never seen season 3. I own the first 2 seasons on DVD.
tlc38tlc38 09-12-2016, 05:52 PM Just guessing that "My Two Dads" & "What's Happening!!" will just air on weekends because of their limited episodes.
Svenfan1234 09-12-2016, 06:31 PM They have said that M2D will be on Weekends only.
Also, Silver Spoons is coming... Not sure why they haven't said anything.
Nordy 09-12-2016, 07:23 PM Didn't care for Silver Spoons the 1st time it was on, doubt my attitude towards it is going to change much.
MRPITT 09-12-2016, 07:33 PM Didn't care for Silver Spoons the 1st time it was on, doubt my attitude towards it is going to change much.
I was a fan of Silver Spoons when I was younger which is probably why I still enjoy it. I was fortunate enough to get HQ copies from Comedy gold so I doubt I will watch on Antenna TV with crunched credits and editing and all.
I dont show Silver Spoons on Logo anymore so their 20 minute episodes must not have done well.
BigManMike 09-12-2016, 07:47 PM I already have What's Happening complete on DVD. At some point, I will have to get Growing Pains on DVD, but that will be very expensive because most of them are MODs. I will also have to get Seasons 1-4 of Alice on DVD then download the TNN airings of 5-9 from YouTube or dailymotion. Then I'll have to get a homemade set of 227. That credit crunch is just absolutely unacceptable. The others don't sound that excited. Even though I no longer watch, I just hope this means they will reduce the Norman Lear shows at night since they are way overplayed.
eng51squad51 09-12-2016, 08:55 PM What about Silver Spoons? That's supposed to be coming in January
That show wasn't listed on the press release on tvnewscheck
TVFactFan 09-12-2016, 10:55 PM I'm excited to see Alice, What's Happening , My two Dad's and 227!:D :)
Just hope I get to see the whole cycle of ALice. I think I may have to record it lol

Yeah that wasn't big news since WH has been out on DVD for years
Bigger news would have been What's happening now

I haven't seen either in years. I could especially relate to Head of the Class because it was on during my high school years and I was in the classes like the show. I'd like to see What's Happening because I did like it. I used to watch Growing Pains but no interest now. I've seen My Two Dads and Becker but not sure I'd watch.

Alice and HOTC is huge news since both shows are not complete on DVD or on youtube
icecream 09-13-2016, 02:07 AM Head of the Class and My Two Dads I've been wanting to see. Murphy Brown and Growing Pains will be nice. I used to like Becker but am not interested anymore. It is too new for Antenna anyway, most of it was in the 2000s. If they got a 2000s show I would prefer Hope and Faith which hasn't repeated much. I might try Alice but don't know if I would be a big fan like a lot of this board. I also could try Hogan/Valerie.
icecream 09-13-2016, 02:14 AM That credit crunch is just absolutely unacceptable.:horse: Do I like credit crunching? No. But it's ridiculous to keep singling out Antenna TV when 97% of TV stations today do it.
TVFactFan 09-13-2016, 07:02 AM Just imagine how great sitcomsonline would have been 10 years ago if me-tv and antenna tv was in existence which would have been before social media
Kasey 09-13-2016, 12:20 PM I am looking forward to ALICE and THE HOGAN FAMILY but I still wish they had gotten IT'S A LIVING from WB. It would have fit it in with these acquisitions.

Only two shows on this list that I'm interested to see, Alice and What's Happening. I'll tune in for those.
ALICE and THE HOGAN FAMILY. Yaaaas bih. I just hope they're on at decent times.
What are they chances that the Norman Lear monopoly over primetime will finally end? I love those shows, but it's time to try some other things, at least in the early evening block.
Dr. Jazz 09-13-2016, 11:12 PM I wonder if this is a result of the rumored Antenna TV Classics channel coming
to fruition? They kinda alluded to the current Antenna TV would air more shows from the 80's and 90's and the classics channel would be more 50s-70s. Maybe the 60's shows and Lear shows will move if the new channel comes along. Most of the shows announced for next year are 80's and 90's.
Tubehead 09-14-2016, 12:17 AM In January 2017:
1. Becker I enjoyed becker I watched it on nick at night & I on television! im surprised that hall mark channel never showed it cause they show cheers & Frasier!!
2. What's Happening I got the complete TV series pulse it comes on tv one & logo it just been played to death!!
3. My Two Dads I only got the first season I wouldn’t mind seeing more episodes!!
Later in 2017:
4. 227 I liked it ok I would rather watch Amen
5. Alice I watched Alice when it was on I on Television it was ok show my mom liked it more then I did!! I might gave it another shot!!
6. Murphy Brown I don’t really remember this show much!! I was still just an kid when it aired I remember not liking it!! but I might gave it another try I might like it now!!
7. Growing Pains I never cared for growing pains I brought the first season to me it was kind of like family ties rip off!! it also comes on up channel some times!!
8. Valerie/The Hogan Family I remember it being on abc family but it was way on earlier in the mooring so I didn’t watch it but I heard good things form the show!! I’ll give it an try!!
9. Head of the Class sorry I don’t like this show!! I remember watching it on nick at night right after I got out of high school!! I just thought it was boring!!

Makes me mad all tv fans don't have this channel
tlc38tlc38 09-14-2016, 03:46 PM ^At least there are ways to see your favorite shows....
Where there's a will...
mets82 09-14-2016, 04:13 PM Growing Pains, I like or used to like. I dont think I could get into it. My Two Dad's and Head of the Class, im looking forward to seeing. Same with the Hogan Family. I haven't seen those 3 shows in a long time.
WH has been played to death, never watched Becker or Alice. Murphy Brown is on demand.
megamanj2004 09-14-2016, 04:15 PM 1. Becker
2. What's Happening
3. My Two Dads
Later in 2017:
4. 227 Love this show!
5. Alice I think we're all looking forward to this!
6. Murphy Brown Good show.
7. Growing Pains Could care less about.
8. Valerie/The Hogan Family Excited for. Never seen before.
9. Head of the Class Excited for. Never seen before.
1. Becker was a good show. Good but not great.
2. WH!! was funny but WHN!! would be even better. It would be a shocker if Antenna TV airs WH!! and WHN!! all in one like BET did back in the 90s.
3. Loved the theme song but the show was meh at times.
4. Loved this show until the final season when it got a tad dry at times.
5. Saw bits and pieces of it during its ION (I Network) reruns and it wasn't too bad, though I did prefer the later episodes post-Flo (IMO).
6. Good show but makes super nervous about its sustainability given how it flamed out in its last few reruns the last few years.
7. Used to like it somewhat when I was younger, nowadays it's a chore to watch, especially the later seasons, primarily its final season.
8. Solid show that should've been given better treatment than what ABC Family (now Freeform) gave it.
9. Good but not great show. Even the post-Howard Hesseman final season had its moments too.
If all these 80s/90s acquisitions from the last 2-3 years of late are any indication, then Antenna TV seems to really be trending towards more 80s-90s stuff of late.
TVFactFan 09-14-2016, 06:40 PM i know I being picky but atleast Alice is on Mon to fri between 7pm and 10pm, I will put a hold on my excitement
The show lasted long enough to be on Primetime like one of those Norman lear shows. Not at 3pm in the afternoon
Mr. Television 09-14-2016, 06:45 PM Good pickups. Very excited for Alice, HOTC, and Hogan Family especially. I still wish they'd pick up Chico and the Man.
Svenfan1234 09-14-2016, 06:47 PM I think Alice will likely be on 5 or 6pm Weekdays. Those Norman Lear sitcoms will never go. Chances aren't good it'll be on in primetime. Maybe on Weekends it will be on in primetime, but things are problematic with Johnny Carson every night.
TVFactFan 09-14-2016, 06:50 PM Good pickups. Very excited for Alice, HOTC, and Hogan Family especially. I still wish they'd pick up Chico and the Man.
I hope just HOTC or Alice can air on mon to fri, 7pm to 11pm:lol:
Mr. Television 09-14-2016, 06:53 PM I hope just HOTC or Alice can air on mon to fri, 7pm to 11pm:lol:
That would be the best time. I don't think HOTC would get it. When it was on Nick @ Night they put it on in the middle of the night.
Svenfan1234 09-14-2016, 06:53 PM I bet Alice and HOTC will get good timeslots, but not from 7pm to 11pm probably I'm afraid. Sanford and Son, Good Times, The Jeffersons, Maude and All in the Family aren't leaving anytime soon.
Ron Ron 09-14-2016, 06:55 PM I wish I had Antenna TV. I do get Me-TV though.
VisualSensation 09-17-2016, 12:10 AM Anyone remember when ION had The Wonder Years, Mama's Family, and Alice in primetime? Can't believe that was already 10 years ago.
TVFactFan 09-17-2016, 12:20 AM Anyone remember when ION had The Wonder Years, Mama's Family, and Alice in primetime? Can't believe that was already 10 years ago.
Yup, Alice aired on ION in April of 2006

In January 2017:
1. Becker - I like Ted Danson, but don't remember the show too well
2. What's Happening - was okay; first few seasons were funny
3. My Two Dads - never watched it
Later in 2017:
4. 227 - love this show! Marla Gibbs is a gem.
5. Alice - good show; Flo stole the good lines ;), but love Linda Lavin too
6. Murphy Brown - one of my favorites. Miles, Jim, Frank, Corky Sherwood Forest!
7. Growing Pains - rarely watched; never warmed up to the cast
8. Valerie/The Hogan Family - never watched it
9. Head of the Class - never watched it
I have to say I am super excited about Head of the Class and The Hogan Family. They haven't been seen anywhere in years!
Svenfan1234 09-24-2016, 10:44 AM I can't wait to record Seasons 5-9 of Alice, and the complete series of The Hogan Family and Head of the Class!
MrCleveland 09-25-2016, 07:34 PM I may get my antennas hooked-up for these shows... I hope they get Amen, GAB, and FOL real soon...
liane60 09-26-2016, 10:50 AM I'm happy about these shows too if they are on at night, either I'm not home in the day or I watch something else.
Svenfan1234 10-04-2016, 04:34 PM Antenna TV said on Facebook "We have two other classics coming in 2017 that haven't been seen in decades. They will be announced soon."
Patty Duke 10-04-2016, 09:30 PM Silver Spoons is on Family Net for those looking for the show.
Antenna TV said on Facebook "We have two other classics coming in 2017 that haven't been seen in decades. They will be announced soon."
Anybody want to try and guess what these shows might be? The key phrase here is "shows that haven't been seen in decades". So it sounds like they could be shows from the 50s and 60s that haven't aired much in syndication ever since and wouldn't have made it on Nick at Nite or TV Land in their early days. A good example would be "Our Miss Brooks" which is on ME-TV now but was very hard to find anywhere before this year. I'm thinking it could be shows like "Mr Peepers" or "Love That Bob" but that's just a wild guess on my part. I'm also wondering if they or any other station are willing to rerun episodes of "American Bandstand". Those were never allowed to be shown before Dick Clark died, but now if all the legal problems can get sorted out, this would be a real find for anyone who can win the rights.
I hope that Antenna TV does start adding much older shows soon because I'm not very happy about the 9 new sitcoms that they will have on in 2017:
Alice - A good show that hasn't been on in a while. The early episodes with Flo are still worth watching. After that, try something else.
Murphy Brown - Another good show for its time but I always found it to be overrated and it gets old very quickly.
My Two Dads, Hogan Family, Head Of The Class - Fairly average. Good but not great. Could have done better. (Like maybe Punky Brewster!)
Becker - Totally unnecessary. Who's going to watch it?
227 - Starring the annoying Marla Gibbs, the insufferable Jackee, and some lady that was on Sesame Street. Not worth my time or yours.
Growing Pains, What's Happening? - Pure crap as in real bottom of the barrel TV.
icecream 10-05-2016, 04:31 PM The fear, of course, is that "decades" also covers two decades, so this could end up being "classics" like Love & War or Ned and Stacey.
Bandstand would be a good get for someone.Ned and Stacey aired a few years ago on TVGN, so it won't be one of the shows.
Mr. Television 10-05-2016, 07:59 PM Ned and Stacey. :puke:
Svenfan1234 10-05-2016, 08:06 PM I don't know, and just guessing, but I think Chico and the Man and It's a Living. They did say "haven't been seen in decades." Those two are from WB, as are Growing Pains, Murphy Brown, Alice, Head of the Class and The Hogan Family that are coming. I honestly don't think it's Ned and Stacey. that is way too new for Antenna. Also, Perfect Strangers could be an option.

Maybe "Farmer's daughter" , "Please don't eat the daisies" or "The ghost & Mrs. Muir"
Svenfan1234 10-07-2016, 10:19 PM I'm thinking Farmer's Daughter and S6-8 of The Donna Reed Show.

Wow, what a way to pompously dismiss three hard-working actresses who managed multiple decades of success in their careers on several extremely popular series. They're definitely worth my time, but thanks for trying.

I think I was drunk last night, I don't even know where that post came from. The sentiment remains the same, the attitude not so much LOL
Samme 10-21-2016, 11:57 AM Looks like rerun hell with that crap from the 80s.
GingerPopTart 10-22-2016, 04:06 PM Looking forward to Head of the Class, Growing Pains, 227, and Alice.
TerriFan 10-23-2016, 07:32 AM 1. Becker
First half of the first season was great, then it went downhill fast. Killed Terry Farrell's career.
2. What's Happening
One show I try to never miss
3. My Two Dads
Had its moments
4. 227
I stopped watching when Jackee started stealing the show.
5. Alice
One of my all-time favorites!
6. Murphy Brown
I can watch it in short spurts, but I can't forget the affiliate promo episode!
7. Growing Pains
One of my absolute favorites, which I haven't been able to see in years except the first two seasons on DVD.
8. Valerie/The Hogan Family
ho-hum.........
9. Head of the Class
I've missed this!

Becker hasn't actually aired Nick@Nite at all. I think you referring that Cheers, which aired on Nick@Nite before.
Looking forward for My Two Dads and Valerie/Hogan Family
icecream 10-25-2016, 09:11 PM The Patty Duke Show is returning to Antenna TV in January, they mentioned that in a Facebook comment.
Svenfan1234 10-25-2016, 10:25 PM I'm looking forward really to all their shows, but especially Alice, Hogan Family and Head of the Class. I wish they would get Perfect Strangers, Chico and the Man and It's a Living on their lineup someday.
I think Antenna is adding Designing Women sometime because of a comment they made on Facebook. Designing Women, Kate & Allie or My Sister Sam is coming per Antenna. Take your pick.
I also think Eight is Enough would make a neat fit for their lineup, but didn't Decades have a EIE binge once???
Apparently, Antenna years ago tried to get Welcome Back, Kotter but didn't work out because of MeTV getting it. It seems as though MeTV's contract may have expired, though.
bh7812 11-08-2016, 12:16 AM I'll be damned...both Head Of The Class and Hogan Family! Neither one has been in syndication on local channels in 20 damn years to my knowledge! Neither one has been on a cable network...in probably 15 or so years. So it's been a while since either one has been on tv at all.
For as great as this news is, and believe me it's very good news, it still leaves me frustrated. Frustrated that Warner is allowing Antenna TV to run those shows yet both are still not on DVD, iTunes, or Amazon. They've been begged for for years, they'd more than make their investment back. I hope this deal doesn't mean both shows will never see DVD and digital releases now.
I knew Warner would finally budge on both either putting them on a network or DVD/digital release after I've obtained most of one show and all of the other one earlier this year, ugh. That's my luck and sure enough they budged.
bh7812 11-08-2016, 12:20 AM Silver Spoons is on Family Net for those looking for the show.
Of course that's the show that just has to be on the one network there isn't a Chicago affiliate for at the moment. Go figure.
Heenan Fan 11-10-2016, 03:24 AM Im a big Antenna TV fan, but Becker is the only thing I'm looking forward too. I liked 227 and Head Of The Class back in the day, but I have a feeling they'll both come across as dated. Especially HOTC.
RedPenguin 11-15-2016, 10:29 AM Antenna TV just announced on Facebook within the hour that 227 is now scheduled for January.
This is great news for me as other than seeing random eps in multiple pieces on YouTube, I never got to watch it in a more normal manner. :)
Anyway, many were under the assumption 227 would not be until later in 2017 based on information Antenna TV provided earlier, so this is somewhat of a surprise.
I guess the TV Tuners in my MythTV DVR won't get a break any time soon. LoL

TVFactFan 11-15-2016, 10:48 AM Antenna TV just announced on Facebook within the hour that 227 is now scheduled for January.
LoL
227 I'd airing on Centric
RedPenguin 11-15-2016, 10:59 AM My company of Atlantic Broadband could care less about carrying Centric in any of their service areas.

Lol it isn;t on their schedule guess he was TROLLING lol

Hell Neither has My Two Dads! I think Antenna should marathon it in honor of Paul Reiser joining the cast of Stranger Things!
Jamey Greek 11-15-2016, 05:51 PM Makes me mad all tv fans don't have this channel

Mace Dolex 12-02-2016, 04:16 PM Head Of The Class
Growing Pains
The Hogan Family
So with these shows I've just seen a smattering of episodes from them and they weren't exactly on my "must see" lineup back when they were on and funny too since I was a kid back in the 80's that one would think these shows would've been right up my alley.
That's just the problem, sitcoms especially when starring children and pre-teens are so dated and cringeworthy because they have the standard cliche, smart aleck kid, high school jock, queen princess and goofball nerd.
So when the time comes I'll check them out again but man is it gonna be painful with Growing Pains since I felt that was just a Cosby clone with caucasian.
The less said about My Two Dads the better, what a stupid premise that only a 1980's network executive would come up with.
mistermike 12-02-2016, 07:18 PM So when the time comes I'll check them out again but man is it gonna be painful with Growing Pains since I felt that was just a Cosby clone with caucasian.
Other than being a family sitcom with a dad who's a doctor, I don't really see the comparison.

Everything is interesting especially What's Happening!, 227, One Day at a Time, and Barney Miller.
For some reason in What's Happening! and 227's time slots on Friday One Day at a Time and Barney Miller will air instead.
I have not seen Antenna TV really do that before. That's usually something MeTV does airing different shows on different days in the weekday slots.
Joey Bishop and 227 will air on Sat/Sun but I am not sure if those will follow the weekday airings or be repeats of weekdays like Antenna TV sometimes does.
Also Johnny Carson is a tad changed.
It appears that 1 hr episodes will air Mon-Thur then Fri and Sat will be 1 hr 30 min and Sun will be a 1 hr episode again.

Pretty much the same here.
I already have a MythTV DVR setup with an HDHomeRun DUAL and 1 Hauppauge 950Q.
I would like to finally have all of 227 and The Joey Bishop Show.
Both as far as I can tell only have a single season on DVD, so recording seems to be the only real way to get them.
mets82 12-19-2016, 05:45 PM The Norman Lear shows can't get off soon enough. My Two Dad's and Webster should be on more.
Svenfan1234 12-19-2016, 06:53 PM I wish:
Family Ties & Newhart would stay on Sundays from 8-10pm
That Wings would have moved to 10pm not 11pm but I see why Antenna did that; so they could show the 90 minute Johnny Carsons on Friday nights
One Day at a Time should be on more than once a week!
RedPenguin 12-19-2016, 08:16 PM I just wanted to give folks a heads up if they are DVRing a show that is a Marathon on Antenna TV.
For example Joey Bishop is going to be a marathon on New Years.
Not that you would not want to DVR the marathon to get the episodes faster but I notice Antenna TV has a barely mentioned ruled with marathons.
It seems like if they air say Joey Bishop Season 1 Episode 2 and Season 3 Episode 5 in the marathon, then they have to (depending on how long in between dates), drop that episode from airing in normal rotation.
Many folks here may already know this but I didn't at first until I seen other show's episodes skipped when they were in a marathon.

I was looking forward to Good Morning, World too and its going to be on Sundays at 1am. There's always DVD, though.
RedPenguin 12-19-2016, 08:52 PM I am curious how Antenna TV is able to show Joey Bishop Show so much.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the show myself, but it's somewhat of a shock.
Retro TV for a while only did one episode on Sat/Sun and eventually changed it to one episode per weekday.
Antenna will do 2 episodes a week day, 3 on Sat, and 2 on Sun.
That makes 15 airings a week to RTV's 2 or 5 airings a week.
Plus Joey will get a marathon also.
I wonder if Antenna is really trying to cash out on getting Season 1.
Mr. Television 12-20-2016, 12:28 AM They need to get The Farmer's Daughter next like they were originally supposed to. I just can't understand how some of these obscure shows are in better shape than it when it aired in reruns on CBN in the 1980's.

stevea 07-18-2017, 06:19 PM I just saw the tail end of that Farmers Daughter discussion. That lousy quality stuff is such bullcr**. Here's a translation, of what Sony meant to say: "It's not going to be released on DVD, so we're not gonna go to the expense of remastering it from the original film elements." (Donna Reed Show S6-8: same answer!) The only way we'd do that is if Antenna would pay for it." (Guess whether that would happen...)
This is one difference between MeTV and Antenna--MeTV will edit and remaster from what they get from the syndicator. The quality may sometimes suffer somewhat (like season 3 of My Three Sons, right now), but at least we get to see them...
Yes, it currently airs Sundays in the 9PM hour. I am guessing Barney Miller will return to the weekday lineup in September.
Right, because a lot of networks and channels are either doings summer schedules or summer breaks.

Agreed, although they may have fared better in the 90s. The only thing I can think of is that Antenna wants to get away from the 50s. So Burns and Allen, Father Knows Best, and Dennis the Menace will probably leave.

icecream 08-01-2017, 01:43 AM I don't know if anyone is aware but has AntennaTV made any big schedule changes lately??They made a handful of changes 2 weeks ago. Family Ties returned to the weeknight schedule at midnight, this pushed Becker to 4AM and took Mr. Belvedere off weekdays. 227 lost its primetime spot and got sent to 3AM. The Partridge Family returned to weekdays at 4PM. Three's Company moved from 9PM to 5PM, All in the Family replaced it at 9PM. On Sunday nights My Two Dads moved 2 hours later from 11PM to 1AM. Newhart replaced it at 11PM and Evening Shade returned at midnight. One Day at a Time returned to the schedule at 6PM replacing Becker's weekend hour. There were a few other changes as well, September will probably be a big overhaul as 9 new shows will be joining the lineup by the end of the year.

Doesn't look like it's going to be before the end of October. Maybe November or December?

One thing's for sure -- it's taking a while to get these shows.
BigManMike 08-01-2017, 07:11 PM Odd schedule. Looks like they are doing away with 2 episodes for many shows and only showing one now.

Probably not until January 2018. They may just say 2017 because they will probably throw in some Christmas episodes of those shows during the holidays but they probably won't be on the main schedule until the new year.
1960'sTVfan 08-01-2017, 11:30 PM I see The Joey Bishop Show is being shifted to 7AM and 7:30AM Eastern Time on weekdays and Saturdays. This doesn't really affect me because I already recorded all the episodes (except for season 2 because I have the retail DVD's) and put them on DVD's.
I enjoyed Antenna's New Years Day marathon of The Joey Bishop Show, that was a lot of fun, a good way to start the new year. So when the episodes started airing on a regular basis, I decided to record them and now I can have my own Joey Bishop Show marathons. :) Joey is a hoot with his deadpan style, Joe Besser is zany and he's always funny. The only person on the show I don't like that much is Guy Marks. If Joey Bishop fired him I can see why he did it, Corbett Monica is much better. The 1st season is interesting because it has Marlo Thomas, and the format is different from seasons 2, 3 and 4.
TVFactFan 08-02-2017, 10:13 AM I keep seeing Promos for Welcome Back Kotter on Antenna TV which lets me know the show will be airing between 7pm and 9pm this fall:p

7pm would be better but I can't complain at least it's not 3pm. Lol
icecream 08-14-2017, 04:38 PM For 2 weeks only, Antenna TV will be airing a different show in primetime Monday- Friday from 8-10. Family Ties Mondays, All in the Family Tuesdays, One Day at a Time Wednesdays, Good Times Thursdays, and Maude Fridays.

Sounds interesting.
mikey0581 08-19-2017, 05:54 PM I like that they are doing that more variety instead of showing the same i think it was like 2005 or 2006 around there, my years might be wrong, been so long ago. Nick at nite started airing two shows in the hour like it was facts of life at 8pm for an hour and threes company at 9pm for an hour, and so on thats when it started going to crap. But i rather take that than same old 4 shows they have now.

But i rather take that than same old 4 shows they have now. That would depend on the show for me. I wish Welcome Back, Kotter had the whole 6PM hour on weekdays. Newhart and Evening Shade share an hour on Sundays. They are said to be compatible but Newhart is a lot better, the only good thing about Evening Shade is the violin theme song.

mikey0581 08-19-2017, 06:04 PM man takes me back those were awesome schedules, bring back memories.
mikey0581 08-19-2017, 06:07 PM the fall schedule looks the best schedule they had in a long time. I cant believe father knows best has a saturday at 6:30pm time slot and even addams family on Saturday nite, shows like that on other channels that would be unheard of.
Im glad their bringing back the three stooges such an awesome show, which it was like 7am or so though. I would love for them to bring back Totally Tooned in. I love those old cartoons.
mikey0581 08-19-2017, 06:09 PM man i forgot Perfect Strangers were on Nick At nite man i love that show. I wish someone would pick that up. I miss the good old days of nick at nite so much.

2001 is when they started the hour block of shows thats when it stop being good in my opinion, shows were still good dont get me wrong but hour can be too much for one show. Then you lose the chance to show other shows because your not on a whole day, you share the channel with nickalodeon. i wish nickoledon would show old game shows again or get new ones. even nickolodeon aint the same either, i miss guts global guts double dare, legends of the hidden temple finder keepers and nick arcade, now those were really good kid game shows.
What's getting pulled from the fall schedule? Does anyone know?

Not till the winter apparently.
What? I thought both of them were premiering later on this year.

Oh, okay.
BigManMike 08-19-2017, 09:19 PM What? I thought both of them were premiering later on this year.
Probably Christmas episodes in December, then on the main schedule in January.
mikey0581 08-27-2017, 05:07 AM Did they lose the rights to The Ropers and Three's a Crowd, I love these shows and how they aired them. Anyone know?
snowpeck 09-01-2017, 04:13 PM Antenna posted a video of the Alice opening credits on Facebook yesterday and said it would be coming in December.
icecream 09-05-2017, 05:32 PM Welcome Back, Kotter moved up from #344 to #238 on my overall episode track after yesterday's marathon. I was able to see 8 episodes.
MikeLutton 09-05-2017, 06:58 PM what that mean in your episode track is it edited
TVFactFan 09-05-2017, 07:45 PM Antenna posted a video of the Alice opening credits on Facebook yesterday and said it would be coming in December.
I bet you it will air between 5pm and 7pm instead of 7pm to 10pm

Svenfan1234 11-01-2017, 06:58 PM They're coming January 1st--although many except for Soap, Benson, & Silver Spoons will be on around Christmas. Alice is on December 30 8-10pm ET, NOT hacked like Logo.

Not hacked like Logo. Well I beg to differ, there is those danged credit crunches and crap on antenna.

By the way I like your signature. I posted on Shout's Facebook for them to do the complete series of St. Elsewhere

Svenfan1234 11-01-2017, 09:07 PM But does Antenna show the full episode?
Likely edited to 22 and a half minutes, but Logo hacks their shows to 18(!) minutes so we're seeing about 4 and a half minutes more than Logo.

They're running Three's a Crowd now in the usual Three's Company slot, so the answer is no.
Not hacked like Logo. Well I beg to differ, there is those danged credit crunches and crap on antenna.
Yeah, but even with that there would likely be more actual show left in than on Logo, so it still goes.
Jamey Greek 11-01-2017, 09:55 PM But does Antenna show the full episode?
Yes they do
mikey0581 11-01-2017, 10:16 PM Ya when i posted that, i asked antenna and they told me they didnt lose the rights, they were not showing three's a crowd and the ropers at the time. thanks for the reply
